Onward by Nike

Onwards from AKQA on Vimeo. Big thanks to Ricky for this link. Hadn’t seen this short before but it’s really nice. Love it when brands think outside the product box and create content that is brand-focused (and different).

He’s Back

The great thing about Nike? They get timing and they don’t wait for a product to create a great spot about their brands. Here’s one that was released this week for Tiger’s return. Great stuff:

Kobe Bryant selling Ankle Insurance

Another video from Nike showcasing their superstar Kobe Bryant. It would be a lot more cool if they actually began providing ankle insurance with the purchase of the shoes.

Nike: Take it to the limit

One of the best executions of this “1st person” type of ad. I was a little disappointed it wasn’t the Eagles song when I clicked play.

A Rare Nike Miss?

I don’t really know what to think about this online video from Nike. I like the premise and the concept but right when you think it’s about to get really funny, it falls flat. Seems like an odd fit for the brand and with less than 4,000 views on YouTube, it doesn’t appear like this … Continue reading

Top 15 Artistic Ads [Another List..but a good one]

One of the most popular posts on Digg right now is about 15 artistic ads. It’s a great compilation of TV spots that are extremly iconic. You’ve probably seen most of them but there was one that I haden’t (posted below) with Lance Armstrong. Another good Nike spot from W+K. No wonder these two are … Continue reading

Don King and Nike? [Seriously]

I don’t know what to think about new Nike campaign for the US open. If you’re a fan of tennis, you’ve got to be excited about the Federer vs. Nadal rivalry. Wimbledon was – arguably – the greatest grand slam final of all time. You’d think that nothing could be better for a brand like … Continue reading

Weiden Does it Again with "Never"

I’ve always been a huge fan of Nike ads. The brand is strong, the tone is always dead on and nothing makes you want to be more active (and wear Nike) than a spot with one of their high profile athletes. While reading ESPN today, I came across an article for Nike’s newest Tiger Woods … Continue reading

Team Nike defeats the devil

I have never seen this Nike spot before. Not in English but the spot is still worth watching.

Steve Nash – The 60 Million Dollar Man

Found this new Nike spot on Adrants. I don’t know how I feel about it yet but I’m assuming that the new Nike shoe they are promoting is made from recycled materials. It’s a bit freaky but watching the next one might shed some light on the campaign. Still, pretty cool.
